Rx30 and Computer-Rx Announce New Medication Management Contact Center, Enhanced Medication Services Center

Enhanced Medication Services Center drives maximum patient engagement in medication management services, outcomes and delivery of STAR ratings.

Orlando, FL April 24, 2017 – Rx30 and Computer-Rx, the leader in pharmacy management systems, today announced the launch of its new Enhanced Medication Services (EMS) center, a 26,000-square foot clinical services center, located in Orlando, FL.

The new EMS center, staffed by highly trained technicians and clinical pharmacists, provides high-quality, clinical intervention outreach services to patients and providers in collaboration with pharmacies and health plans. EMS works with patients to ensure they take their medications and resolve medication-related problems. EMS engages providers to facilitate needed prescription updates and changes. EMS interventions provide “quality lift” for the pharmacies and health plans to achieve high ratings on performance measures and improve health outcomes. EMS services include comprehensive medication therapy management, refill sync coordination, medication adherence outreach, pharmacogenomics consulting and other targeted interventions to patients, providers, and pharmacies.

Steve Wubker, President/CEO of Transaction Data Systems, Inc. (Rx30/Computer-Rx) states, “We are thrilled to bring this premier outreach center to our Rx30 and Computer-Rx pharmacies. Independent pharmacies today are judged by their patient’s adherence, yet many don’t have the time, staff and resources to devote to it, especially when the revenue formula still doesn’t fully support such activities. It’s been my vision to take this burden off the pharmacies by getting them off the ground through our own Enhanced Medication Services Center. EMS is like an extension of their pharmacy.”

“EMS is excited to partner with the independent pharmacy market and bring an enhanced model that provides maximum patient engagement and effectiveness of medication management services.” states Jeff Pohler, Sr. Vice President of EMS.

The EMS staff is trained to be clear, concise, and credible in all communications whether working with patients or providers.  A customized team is created for each project entrusted to the center, and each team is properly staffed and specifically trained to the requirements of the project to achieve maximum results.
